Customize Format and Colors for Google AdSense

  • Login to your Google AdSense Account
  • Click on the AdSense Setup tab.
  • Choose AdSense for content - Ad unit or Link unit
  • Click on continue at the bottom of page after each selection
  • Choose your desired format being horizontal, vertical or square
  • Choose your colors from one of the pre-designed palettes or create your own color palette.
You will see a sample of the ad to your left, all you do is click on the color of border, title, background, text or URL to change the color. When any of these are clicked on a popup palette of colors will appear, click on the desired color for each one to customize the ad to fit your sites color scheme . The sample ad on the left will change each time you choose a different color and this will help you to see what your future ad will look like. This is a view of the sample palette that will pop up when you click on the colors.

  • Setup channels for each ad unit so you can experiment with the performance and revenue from each unit.
  • Copy and Paste your AdSense code into Page Elements or within your blogs posts (see related articles). Relevant ads should appear on your site within 48 hours.
