Creating an 'Email Me' Link in New Blogger

Updated information for The New Verion of Blogger

Creating an Email or Contact link for others to contact you personally is an important part of having communication with your readers. I chose a gmail account for all blogger correspondence as to keep it separate from my personal email.

You will find many people will never leave a comment on your blog for others to view yet they will email you with a question of concern, this gives them a choice.

Go to the dashboard and click on Layout, Add a Page Element. This bring up a choice of Topics for you to Add to your blog. You will want HTML/JavaScript for adding an email link - Click on Add To Blog. Leave the Title blank, in the space provided use this HTML/JavaScript - Save Changes. Of course you will want to replace this email address in the example with your own.

You can also use this same HTML/JavaScript for an email address within a post when you ask your readers to contact you.
